BATCH OF 90s

Set in the late 90s Chandigarh, Batch of 90s is a show about a bunch of Generation-X college kids, studying arts in City College. It is a fun-filled, nostalgic, and sepia-tinted look back at the changing landscape of a nation moving from socialism to capitalism. The show is a fictionalized documentation of a rollicking decade captured entertainingly.

A televised war, an assassination, a demolition, liberalisation, satellite TV invasion, maximum city explosion, Kargil confrontation, a few coalitions, nuclear bomb detonation, bookended by World Bank donation and hijacked airplane situation ... In between these is where the story lies.
